....and in my case, I mean this literally!!! So let me explain.....
After playing this addictive game, I can understand why it has gone contagiously global! I know I'm a lot late in playing this game, but I never really planned to play it or let alone buy it, because I have an aversion to playing as a 1st person shooter. I get nauseating motion sickness which always leads to me running for the nearest toilet bowl or whatever will hold the contents of my stomach!
However, with the generosity of a company called Contagious Network, I was sent this game to try it out. Unfortunately, after playing this game for the first time for only a mere 10mins+, I had to quit it and ran for the toilet to empty my stomach of what was a delicious lunch! I feel so ashamed!!!!
Since I couldn't play it, I watch my husband and my younger brother (who by the way is highly addicted and would always be on MW2 if he could), to review it for what I saw and thought of this game and what I thought it was all about, not to mention why it was generating so much fuss and discussion every time someone mentions the game. Mind you, I had to take constant breaks from watching the TV screen to stop me from emptying my stomach over and over again! For shame, yet again! But, I did manage to see and garner why over a million gamers and counting, have been addicted to this game and will no doubt flock and queue for the next installment in the Call of Duty series, Call Of Duty: Black Ops due for release on November 9th, 2010.
It is highly addictive once you begin, whether you play the Single Player Campaign mode; Cooperative Multiplayer Spec Ops mode; or the highly fueled, adrenalin pumping, Online Multiplayer mode; this game will never fail in keeping you glued to your butt to whatever you're sitting on! It has awesome graphics, making you believe that you are there on location fighting side by side with your troops. What you see is so vivid and realistic and topped that with the blaring sound coming out full blast from your speakers, it's no wonder so many lose themselves into this game, and no doubt many a sleepless nights!
Unfortunately, I did not see much of this game as I'd liked, but from the constant discussions I hear from those around me, who have this game and will continually play it, I am saddened to know now I am missing a lot in not playing this much loved and addictive game.
If there is a cure for the nauseating, motion sickness, puke induced caused by playing as a 1st person shooter, please let me know, because I am extremely jealous that I am unable to play and participate in the phenomenon that is Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2!
