I wish David Tennant all the best on his future endeavours, but he will forever be my DOCTOR!
Back to "The End of Time" (Parts I & II) - I loved it! It was so sad and bittersweet. I'm not ashamed to say it, I cried buckets of tears! Mostly because I didn't really want David Tennant to go and it was heart wrenching that he didn't want to either. Whether he was speaking as The Doctor or as himself, he had me tearing/crying up like a lovesick idiot!
All in all, it was a really nice, decent, and respectful episode to send David Tennant off to more greener pastures. Here's hoping that Matt Smith as the new Doctor will do justice to the role that David Tennant has left behind. Hopefully Matt won't imitate too much of David's characteristic and personality he put into playing the Doctor cause that will just annoy me and will most likely put me off - and God forbid, I do so love watching Doctor Who! Here's hoping I can pass an unbiased judgment after several episodes and not compare Matt's portrayal of The Doctor to David's too much, because 5 years of David as The Doctor was absolutely BRILLIANT!
